Barn Dance Social - Come Join the Dance!

A twice-yearly event!  

Join in an age-old tradition of community dancing.  No experience needed!

 Enjoy an evening of "forward and back," "do-si-do," and "swing your partner"-- and more! 

Dances are easy-to-learn circles, squares, line, contras and simple folk dances. 

Smiles and laughter guaranteed!  Refreshments available.

When:  Twice-yearly, Spring and Fall.  Watch for dates! 

Time:   7:00 pm--9:00 pm (with short break for refreshments)

Band & Callers:  Callers Paul Rosenberg or Fern Bradley lead our dances, suitable for all ages, while Charlton's own "TuneFolk" & Friends offer traditional and original fiddle tunes.

Admission: $8,  Children (6-12) $2

Location:  Historic Harmony Hall Community Center, 1401 Peaceable St, Ballston Spa, NY.  (Located on the corner of Peaceable St. and Rte. 67, in the town of Charlton.)  

All ages welcome!  Bring the young 'uns, and grandma and grandpa, too! There are dances to fit all ages. Bring your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, students! 

What to wear?  Whatever's comfortable for the time of year, though dancing gets you warmed up. Comfortable shoes/sneakers are best for your feet.

Parking:  Mowed grass field at the hall. (Please park vehicles facing Rte. 67.) Handicap Parking is available directly behind the Hall, near the back door (no steps).
